The 1st stage of events in the World Futbol Tour is the Local Event. This event is either: 1) hosted/managed by a soccer club/organization or league as a WFT Partner Event, 2) it is managed by WFT in cooperation with the host, or 3) it is an Affiliate Event with a club that has an existing 3v3 or 6v6 event. All Local Events (3v3 & 6v6) are qualifying events for the WFT World Cup. Teams earn State/National ranking points except at Affiliate local events. All teams become eligible to their State Champions Cup or the nearest one geographically. Local Events are 1-day tournaments unless split into two days with boys and girls playing on separate days.
